The app measures shoe size from newborn to US size 12 (European size 29). I can’t possibly be the only person who is confused by European sizing (and, yes, I realize the irony of that statement given the fact that I live in Europe). For the most accurate sizing, measure both of your child’s feet.

Aside from the year we spent in Ohio, my kids have been warm weather tots, living in Alabama and Florida. Winter in Germany is a whole new beast for all of us, requiring a whole new collection of gear to combat the long, cold winter. Admittedly, at first the Boots seem a little overwhelming for my son’s feet. I mean, he’s got skinny little twig legs and these are some serious boots. But, he loves them and is super comfortable in them. Indeed, he’s worn them to school and on day trips, as well as to play in the snow. So while they are thick and a little heavier than an average sneaker, for example, they certainly don’t slow my little guy down.
