We planned our current trip around the wedding of my lifelong family friend. It was a beautiful wedding. Unfortunately, the kids did NOT cooperate during the ceremony so I didn’t get to enjoy that. But, they partied it up at the reception. My son was completely infatuated with the bride and kept asking to dance with the “person in the white dress.” (Can you blame him? She was absolutely stunning!)

And then the dancing really started… and didn’t stop. My daughter was a dancing fool and had everyone in hysterical laughter. I’m not sure if it was her, um, interesting moves or her fabulous outfit that earned her the nickname “Little Gladiator Girl“.

A couple weeks ago we had the chance to have dinner and hang out with Shannon from Potamus Prefers and her family! They were vacationing vacation at the beautiful beach – just like they did last year – and we tried (rather unsuccessfully) to get a picture of the four munchkins.

Seriously, do you know how hard it is to get a decent picture of four kids at once? Let me show you…

Then we tried to get a picture of Shannon and me. And that is when my daughter decided to cooperate and pose sweetly.

There’s no way this is going to be wordless because I am SO PROUD of my little guy. He’s had a rough time at swim lessons until last week. He had a sudden turn around and now he’s a CHAMP. He seriously went not trying and crying and screaming every time it was his turn to swim. But for the past two lessons he’s been a pure joy, trying very hard and doing an awesome job. I’m so proud of him!
