Tyra may have the final say when it comes to America’s Next Top Model, but we all have a hand in picking America’s Top Sitter 2013!
Sittercity, “the inventor of online caregiving”, is going to reward one dedicated babysitter with the title of America’s Top Sitter. Families nominated their favorite babysitter with a photo and short explanation of why they are tops through Sittercity’s app. A panel of experts pored through the nominations and narrowed the field to ten.
This is where you come in. Head over to the Top Sitter competition page and check out the ten finalists’ photos and nomination stories. They are all amazing, you guys! On a day when I could have used more than a little help in our circus of a house, I got emotional reading about the love and support the babysitters have offered to the families they work with. And speaking of emotional, one of the finalists works for a family that was directly impacted by the Sandy Hook massacre. Cue the tears.
Voting ends TOMORROW (March 20), so head over to the Top Babysitter 2013 contest page and vote for the babysitter you think should win the $5000 prize from Sittercity.
I know this post is about this awesome Top Babysitter contest, but I can’t post without saying “Thank You” to Sittercity for supporting military families! As you all know, we move often and we never know where we’re going next. We don’t have the luxury (or choice) to live in familiar locales or near family. In other words, we rely on word of mouth and the brilliant Sittercity to find reliable and vetted childcare providers. It’s a great service, made even more awesome because they offer free membership to military families. So, thanks Sittercity!
