One of the highlights of a trade show is taking time to wander and discover new brands. Or, more accurately, brands new to me. At Kind + Jugend I was delighted to stumble upon Leander, a juvenile furniture brand from Denmark. The furniture was sleek and simple and designed to grow with children.
Leander was highlighting the brand new Stool Set with table and two chairs. The chairs are designed to be ergonomic and clearly have children in mind because “Everyone knows that children move around, even when they are sitting still.” Truer words have never been spoken. In addition, the seat ensures an ergonomic sitted position to start good habits early.
Another piece that caught my eye is the High Chair. This “light and springy design” of moulded wood moves and rocks slightly when your child does to provide a comfortable and calming place to sit.

October 8, 2012Ohmygosh! I am in love with this company after reading this post. I already have two bassinets (nevermind the fact that we used them only a handful of times because we ended up co-sleeping!) but I really want that hanging bassinet. So cool!!
