Tea Collection: Destination Bali {$150 Giveaway}

One of the things we love about Tea Collection is that each new collection is inspired by a different country or region of the world. It’s always fun to see how the Tea designers interpret the culture and colors of a region to life. This spring and summer collection brings the brilliant colors, vibrant prints and the spirit of of Bali to fabulous clothes for kids.

About the Destination: Bali Collection

Take a look at the Destination: Bali page on Tea for the story about the Tea Collection team trip to Bali and descriptions of the clothes. We sampled some clothes from the summer collection:

Our summer collection is a Bali beach party filled with lightweight, flowy fabrics and beachy prints and graphics for girls and boys. From the Kupu Kupu trapeze dress and halter top, with bunches of Balinese butterflies to the sunrise stripes of the Kangin Stripe playdress and boys polo, you’re in for a bright summer delight. Bold Bali-inspired prints come to life in new silhouettes for girls. Moon orchids, surf lilies, sea flowers, egrets and more grace rompers, tops and dresses, flowy and sporty alike. For boys, it’s an ocean of fun on an island of cool. Beachy knit shorts combine with surfy polos and graphic tees for a wave of color and fun all summer long.

Tea Collection Coordinated Sibling Clothes

I know it’s a little dorky, but I happen to love dressing my kids in coordinating clothes. When I spied some matching baby boy and boy clothes from the Bali: Kuta Beach collection I knew I had to have them.

The Waves Batik Polo matches the Waves Batik Romper so it was really begging for my boys to wear them. I ordered the 3-6 month size in the romper so that Max can wear it this summer, but there’s nothing stopping my older son from wearing the Polo and matching French Terry Cargo Shorts in Indigo. When my husband saw this outfit he literally said, “Those are the coolest boy clothes I’ve ever seen.” I agree. The Waves Batik design is fun and unusual but grounded by the traditional shape of a polo shirt. The cargo shorts are awesome. I was afraid they’d be much too big when I realized I ordered a size 5 instead of 4, but I love the way they look. They’re definitely long but it fits with the beach theme and the elastic waist means he’ll be able to wear them for a while.

I wanted to find some boy clothes that would coordinate with a girls’ dress so I picked out some fun striped clothes for all three kids.

The same French Terry Cargo Shorts match the Super Surf Stripe Tee. The same pattern is found on the super cute Super Surf Stripe Romper. While it’s not an exact match, I think the Kangin Stripe Playdress is a fun way for my daughter to also wear colorful stripes. The dress is pretty much fabulous, by the way. Like many of my daughter’s Tea Collection clothes, I wish it came in my size. It has a unique cut and very cool seams down the back that add to the shape.
