I am sometimes too obsessed with what Charlie eats, but my main goal is usually just to make sure he gets a balance of nutrients. So far (knock on wood), I have a child who likes to eat just about anything, but I’m not above resorting to sneaking healthy ingredients into his food if it becomes necessary. That’s where NurturMe’s freeze dried, powdered baby foods come into play. They grow with baby from the early months through toddlerhood and beyond!
About NurturMe
NurturMe is the first and only certified-organic, all natural and gluten-free baby food made from nutrient-rich, quick-dried fruits and veggies. Our revolutionary approach feeds off our basic instinct to nurture. That’s why our food gives your baby better nutrients, provides you versatility and takes care of Mother Earth.
>Puree to Pure Fun
Perhaps the best thing about NurturMe is its versatility. We first used it when Charlie was just a few months old and had started eating fruit and vegetable purees for the first time. I make most of his food at home, but when we travel we bring store-bought food with us. NurturMe was a great choice for our first trip with Charlie
because it was compact – the freeze dried powders come in small flat pouches – but I also knew that I could mix it with breastmilk, formula, cereal, or plain old water for a full serving of food that he would love. As baby gets older, you can just decrease the amount of liquid to make the puree thicker.
And now that he is eating some of the same foods we eat, it will be fun to see how we can boost the nutritional quotient of our family meals by adding NurtureMe to our favorite recipes. We don’t eat out often these days, but I envision being able to add Plump Peas to a serving of mashed potatoes or mac and cheese for a quick healthy boost to kids menu option that might otherwise disappoint in the nutritional department.
