Air Your Dirty Laundry & Come Clean with LG {$250 Giveaway}

For the fourth year in a row, LG was rated the most reliable front load washer brand by leading consumer magazines. And they want to celebrate by giving one of you $250.

LG Front Load Washers

I happen to own an LG Washer and Dryer set that we purchased when we moved to our home in Florida several years ago. We’d just come from an archaic set in Germany and were so excited to own a fancy new front load set. Almost four years and two moves later, the washer and dryer are still churning along making our clothes clean and dry.

I’m no washing machine expert, but I have some information to share about what makes LG different and worthy of continued accolades.

  • In addition to being named the most reliable brand for Front Load laundry and dryers in the US by a leader consumer magazine, LG has been the market share leader Front Load washing machine for four years.
  • Families can cut their laundry-related energy costs by about one third and water costs by more than one half just by purchasing an ENERGYSTAR rated clothes washer such as the LG Ultra-Capacity SteamWasher with 6Motion Technology.
  • LG’s Ultra Capacity Steam Washer is one of the most energy efficient washers in its category. It is roughly 86 percent more energy efficient and uses up to 40 percent less water than conventional top load machines, helping to save more than $900 in energy and water costs over the life of the machine.

Does it mean I’m really old that I a enjoy reading about and looking at those pretty new washing machines? Yes? Okay. But I’m old with nice clean clothes. To learn more about LG Front Load and Top Load laundry machines, visit LG.com.

Airing My Dirty Laundry

LG washing machines get your laundry clean,but we want to have a little fun and hear about your metaphorical dirty laundry. That’s right, to enter to win big we’re asking you to admit to something embarrassing. So, I’ll go first…  And there are so many that I’ll just list a few embarrassing things you may not know about me.

1. I have been a horrible pregnant woman this time around… I drink caffeine, eat sweets like its going out of style (including icing directly from the container), and can barely remember to take prenatal vitamins to make up for my crappy diet.

2. I am legally blind. Like, for real. But, thankfully it’s correctable with contacts (gas permeable only, no soft for me!) or glasses. I will never, ever ever leave the house in my glasses because they make the bottom of a Coke bottle look thin.

3. I don’t mind doing laundry or folding it. It’s putting it away I have a problem with. So, both my kids dressers are always covered by piles of clean clothes. When I cleaned and actually put clothes in drawers for my mom to visit recently, my daughter went to her room and freaked out. “Mama, where all my clothes?!” she cried.

    Dirty laundry secret: I will leave my clean clothes in the dryer for days before I get them out. I sometimes just completely forget about them until I go to look for something specific for one of my children and realize that it must be in the dryer.
