Last month I had the opportunity to participate in on a call to learn about cold and flu prevention with the folks from Sani-Brand. It was informative and definitely got me thinking about how to be more diligent in cleaning and protecting my kids from germs. Sani-Brand products offer a range of products so that you can use the one brand to sanitize everything from surfaces in your home to your hands to your child’s hands. The brand has been a staple for healthcare and restaurants workers and is now making a push to spread to consumers like us.

Sani-Spread Health Tips

Here are some easy tips for preventing cold and flu this season

  • Create healthy habits
  • Practice proper germ etiquette
  • Disinfect key places where germs may be hiding
  • Know and teach proper handwashing techniques
  • Have a back up plan

Back up plan? Well, we’re not always able to get to soap and water to wash hands. At the park with kids? Running errands from store to store? I like to call it living life with kids. And that’s wherethe Sani-Brand 360 Touchpoints System comes in. The idea is to provide products to sanitize everything you encounter in your life from kids dirty hands to your kitchen counter to the phone at work.

Germs are everywhere. So, it’s important to be aware of the everyday “touchpoints,” common items we touch in the course of a day, which can become hotspots for spreading germs and illness. By disinfecting your touchpoints at home, school, and the office, you can make a real difference in preventing the spread of germs and viruses.

I definitely recommend exploring the information on the 360 Touchpoints page – there’s lots of valuable information to help you prevent germs at home, school and the office.

I absolutely love the single Sani-Hands for Kids and now keep several packets in my purse to clean up my kids on the go. There’s even a Sani-Hands for Kids package that fits into the drink holder in your car.

From the conference call here’s some information about Sani-Hands.

As soon as I saw “germ ridden predicaments” this diaper diving post came to mind. What is worse than poopy hands? (Wait, don’t answer that…)

I have a funny pic to share, and gross! lol. I’ve never shared this way, so I hope this link works. Also, it’s not the best quality pic because it’s from my cell, but it is funny and it does get my germy point across!
