We are so excited to be partnering with Tiny Love to share a series of product features and share company and product news with you throughout the next several months. I’ve been familiar with the brand since my son was a baby; indeed, he enjoyed the Take Along Mobile and a Play Mat. So now, years later, it’s exciting to have the opportunity to learn more about this company, its products and upcoming endeavors.

About Tiny Love

  • We work with the experts. Tiny Love has a team of experts in child development and developmental toys that support baby’s growth.
  • We’re parents ourselves. Our team is made up of parents, who have a personal experience with the needs of parents and their babies. We know what you need because we’ve been there countless times. This is why we believe we are best suited to support new families as they grow together.
  • We continually work.  We are always on the lookout for the next developmental toys that will stimulate your baby’s skills and senses, nurture and develop your relationship, and help you enjoy your time together during those first immensely exciting years.
  • We care about babies. We care about parents. Our team’s goals are ongoing innovation and originality paired up with continuous support of parents as they grow and develop alongside their babies. Our high-quality products not only help parents fulfill their role in their baby’s life, but also to have fun while at it.

Gymini Move & Play

The Tiny Love Gymini Move & Play maintains the same basic idea as the Tiny Love Play Mat my son used years ago, but has made improvements and innovations that make it a completely different toy for babies. Gymini Move & Play features a sliding arch connector that allows you to bring toys closer to baby and move toys with great flexibility. The Mat is also noticeably larger than others in the past at 45″X41.7″ in size. The electronic lights and music toy not only entertains baby, but moves to make it easier to get baby in and out from underneath the arch.

In addition to the electronic toy that hangs at the center, there are six more activities and toys to keep baby entertained. All of the hanging toys can be moved up and down the arches and other activities (like crinkly square) are attached to the mat.

If you’re worried about baby rolling right off the mat, the large edges fold up and snap together to create a borders to help contain the fun.

The size of the mat really can’t be overstated as it’s much bigger than others I’ve seen. To give you an idea, here’s my nearly 3 year old daughter investigating the hanging toys. Even with the large size, the Play & Move folds in half for easy storage. We’ll put this away until baby is born, but I’ll keep it close because I’m excited to finally have a great toy for visiting friends’ babies.

When baby outgrows the toys, you can easily unsnap and remove the arches to create a simple play mat.

To Buy or Not to Buy

To Buy… The Gymini Move & Play incorporates the features you know and love in a play mat and improves upon them with smart innovations like the sliding and adjustable position arch. The toys offer a great variety for interaction and play, and the mat grows with your child from birth through infancy and beyond.

Or Not to Buy… The colors are a bit “loud” since they’re appealing to babies, so you might not want this to be a permanent fixture in your living room. (And that’s when the folding for storage comes in handy!)

Shop! The Gymini Move & Play is available directly from the Tiny Love Store and on Amazon for $74.99.
