PUSH! Delivery Gowns {Review and Giveaway}

I put ZERO thought into what I would wear at the hospital with my first child. I planned an outfit for going home and one for baby, but it didn’t even occur to me to plan for the day or two I’d be in the hospital. My photos from that time are less than beautiful. This time around I don’t have to worry about being photographed in an ugly hospital gown because I’ll be packing a much prettier option thanks to PUSH! Delivery Gowns.

Beautiful Practicality

push! delivery gownsPUSH! Delivery Gowns are designed to make every woman feel beautiful during delivery. The gowns come in several beautiful patterns, but are also designed to be practical. The gown is designed with a crossover top and shoulder straps to allow for breast feeding and exams but still keep you covered. Instead of a gaping back, PUSH! gowns button up the back making the world less breezy. This is a huge improvement over the standard hospital gown that I turned around to keep my hiney covered and after breastfeeding would walk out of leaving my husband with a stellar view of my saggy belly and hospital grade granny panties. The poor man didn’t say anything but his eyes did that Looney Tunes thing where they fall out of his head and roll away on the ground. Hopefully that won’t be a problem this time around with my pretty Hannah Delivery Gown.

I haven’t had my baby girl yet, so I can’t tell you how the gown works in the hospital setting. But I can tell you it’s very comfortable. In addition to being pretty, it fits well and I love the cottony type fabric. I’m really glad to have this gown for my hospital bag and while I don’t plan to wear it (and possibly ruin it) during actual delivery, I will definitely be wearing it after delivery.

To Buy or Not to Buy

To Buy… Every woman deserves to feel beautiful and pampered on delivery day. PUSH! Delivery gowns help do this by replacing the ugly and awkward hospital gowns. These gowns also make a great gift for mom to be.

Or Not to Buy… these gowns fall in the “want” not the “need” category for packing your hospital bag, but they should still be on your list because you deserve to feel pretty and comfortable.

Shop! PUSH! Delivery Gowns are available on-line in a variety of prints for $59. Matching baby sets can also be purchased for $40.

After a year and a half of motherhood, Malia is finding life as a full time work-outside-the-home mom much, much more rewarding and both more and less challenging than she expected. She's constantly amazed by the wonderful new little person in her life and all his antics, but also thoroughly enjoys leaving him in loving care while she works in "grown up land" (on most days anyway). Her family will soon be growing as they plan to welcome a baby girl into the family this winter. Her impending arrival has everyone excited and a little freaked out (except for baby Jack, who at 18 months is still blissfully clueless).
