When I previously reviewed Fresh Produce my one criticism was that the clothes weren’t on “the cutting edge” as I said. I have to admit that when I took another look at the summer collection I was very pleasantly surprised by how many things I wanted to add to my closet. The Maxi dress? Totally on trend for summer and Fresh Produce has great options. Bright colors for summer? This is the place. Yes, Fresh Produce – and particularly the ME collection – are all about summer style for moms.

One of the pieces that immediately caught my eye at Fresh Produce is the Malibu Maxi Dress. The Maxi Dress is one trend that I can get behind. The dresses are comfortable, look great on many figures and can be casual for day and dress up for night. The Malibu Maxi is gathered around the bust and smocked across the back creating a flattering and comfortable fit. I just adore this dress because it is so easy to wear – and wear it, I have! (In fact, you can see it in action in this video.)

Another easy to wear summer staple is the wrap dress. The Cafe Wrap Dress is an easy to wear take on the classic wrap dress because it’s really a faux-wrap. One side of the dress does cross to tie near the bustline so the dress has an empire waist. It’s a nice above the knee length and a classic silhouette that will be in style for years.

To Buy or Not to Buy

To Buy… I was very pleasantly surprised by all the great options from Fresh Produce – summer is definitely their season. The Maxi Dress is a must have and the Morroccan Wrap Dress is another great option for summer. You can’t go wrong with either.

Or Not to Buy… I’m happy to report no reason not to buy these dresses and definitely no reason not to check out all Fresh Produce has to offer this summer.
