Colors, Colors Everywhere – Rainbow Goodies

I have a theory…stick with me on this: When you walk into a store with a beautiful display of stacked t-shirts, they are mesmerizing. Stacked so neatly with all the colors from the hot reds and yellows to the soothing blues and greens, they are so striking. Then. You pull out just one and hold it up. Is anyone else as disappointed as I am? One blue t-shirt just doesn’t have the same impact.

I always claim my favorite color is apple green, but as I look around my house at the things that I love most and had to have – the rainbow is what I see.

I bought this birthday card by Papyrus at my local Target. It is for no one. It sits in front of my computer and makes me happy. Can you see the rainbow jewels affixed to it?

My calendar. I know, real high tech.

My favorite magazine cover – EVER.

And the ultimate inspiration in my kitchen…my rainbow mixing bowls.

Colorful Shopping

If you are like me and draw your inspiration from all the colors at once, maybe you or someone you love will like one of the following rainbow pretties.

Papyrus greeting cards are available in a range of styles and prices online. You may also find a store locator if you prefer to browse (and see those sparklies) in person.

This Pacifier Snugglie is available on Etsy for $10.00. Etsy is a treasure trove of rainbow products. Simply type “rainbow” in the search field and observe the beauty.

This rainbow wooden tunnel toy available at The Playstore for $32.95 feeds a child’s imagination.

This little Stuffed Toy Owl combines my two favorite loves – rainbow and argyle. Available on Etsy for $26.00.

I’m not high tech (remember the calendar above?), but I do have an iPad and would love this Rainbow Zig Zag Cover. Available on Etsy for $22.00.

I wish I’d discovered these Children’s Play Cloths earlier. This package of beautifully hued cloths are available on Etsy for $37.00.

I happen to own this set of rainbow mixing bowls as I mentioned above. They are a huge splurge, but I didn’t buy them for myself. I covet them so much, we don’t use them. The finish on them is so beautiful and they are so lightweight. Available at Williams-Sonoma for $179.95.
