I am sure you have seen and / or owned a pair of Crocs before, as they have been quite popular for a few years now. I have actually never owned a pair. When I was asked to take a look at the new Crocs Tone Line, I decided it was time to give them a shot. After all, tone of the models are flip flops and my cold winter feet are just dying to be set free! Why not try to do some toning while I air out the piggys?
About Crocs’ Change the Tone Campaign
Crocs is taking the initiative to help “change the tone” of the negative news these days by launching a new app on Facebook, visit the Crocs Facebook app and you can see how Crocs has changed the tone of negative news headlines to positive headlines. Fans of Crocs can get creative and try out changing the tone – they’ll simply choose any of the headlines on the app and tweet their own take on changing the tone.
Let’s Tone
Take a look at the different models available in the Crocs Tone line. The new collection from Crocs comes in four stylish models that use the same lightweight and odor-resisting, patented Croslite material as the original Crocs. I am told that they offer the benefits of toning your upper and lower legs.
I received the Crocs Tone Skylar Flip and, in my opinion, they are really comfortable, and you can feel the stabilizing that is needed to walk in them. They sort of rock when you walk and I could feel the tightening in my legs as I walk. I found that they were very, very comfortable (I now know why people wear them all the time!). However I did find that they required a little bit of thought to kind of steady myself as I walked. Kind of like when you walk in heels, you can do it just fine, but you just have to be a little more “aware”. I think I would be able to get used to the balancing act just fine after wearing them a bit longer. That being said, I am not sure if I would be comfortable carrying my kids up and down stairs in them. At least not until I get used to them.
Here is a video that explains how the new Crocs Tone work and shows the styles available:
To Buy or Not to Buy
To Buy… I love a basic black flip flop, and this is a great one. The added bonus of possibly toning my legs and rear as a walk are certainly a plus!
Or Not to Buy… At the price, it’s worth a shot to try these out. However, I did think they took a little bit of getting used to walking in them.
