Army Themed Boy’s Room

By Kate |

This bedroom is shared as part of the Real Reader Rooms series sponsored by
The Land of Nod.

Nichol from Kiddies Corner Deals shares her son’s room inspired by his love of everything Army. We love that Gavyn got to make the room his own and all the creative and budget friendly touches Nichol added.

Nichol: When we moved into this home and told him he would have his own room and could make it anything he wanted, he immediately chose Army.  He is so interested in the Army. I found the bedding and the curtains at Walmart.  The blinds are from SelectBlinds.

Nichol: The airplane on the ceiling is a “junk toy” his grandpa gave him that didn’t work, so we added string and hung it. We hung a toy army truck from the pull cord on his fan and added a green pillow to his floor. (Editor’s note: how creative is that?)

Nichol: The paint color is “iguana” which he chose and is Behr.  He had to have a HUGE Modern Warfare poster to add the final touch as well as the GI Joe one.

Nichol: The United State Army wood plaque is from an Ebay shop and the colored wood letters are from a shop online as well.

I can totally see my little man loving a room like this in a few years. Thanks for sharing, Nichol!
