This nap time has been a productive one for me. I, with just a few clicks of my mouse, ordered a case of Nature Babycare Eco-Friendly Chlorine-Free Diapers 4 packs of 27 eachand Pampers SoftCare Unscented Wipes, 720 Count
to be delivered to my door for $20 and $16 respectively. And I returned an Evenflo Triumph 65 LX Convertible Car Seat
I decided wasn’t right for us (impulse buy) by selecting “return,” taping up the top, and putting it out on my front porch.
All that got me thinking, does everyone else know how wonderful Amazon is? I know I’ve mentioned it before and it’s come up on facebook how much we all love Amazon and their Amazon Mom program, but just in case you’ve missed it, here are the details.
Amazon Mom:
- Free to sign join and you get at least 3 months of prime shipping (2 day shipping) free.
- You get awesome discounts like 30% off diapers and wipes by using Subscribe and Save. Don’t worry, there’s no commitment. You can cancel your subscription right after you get your item and no one at Amazon calls and yells at you (promise).
- There are discounts on all kinds of other things from baby food to cribs to workout gear.
- The more you buy the more free prime shipping you earn. I’m currently up to a year (the max available) but I’m betting they extend beyond the year.
- You can use your free shipping on anything at Amazon that qualifies for Prime, not just baby stuff.

Make Amazon Even Better With the App
With the Amazon App you can have Amazon everywhere…making it easy to price check, order when you suddenly think of something you need, or just shop when you are bored. I find it especially helpful with the “deal” sites. Sometimes a similar item is on Amazon for less especially when you consider free shipping. Find the App in the iTunes store (for free) or Google your smart phone and Amazon App.
How to Sign Up
Signing up is easy. Just go to Amazon Momand sign up. Then start shopping. Look for Subscribe and Save
on items like diapers, wipes and baby food to save 15-30%.
Disclaimer: Amazon did not give me anything for this post (but they totally should…Hey Amazon! Send me gift cards). But honestly, I really do love Amazon so much that I think everyone should know about it. I’m just so excited about how easy everything baby and home is with Amazon. No packing baby into car, unloading baby from car, going into store, shopping before baby gets bored/hungry/poopy/tired, and getting everything back home. Just click and shop. I have a new steam mop on the way too. I’m actually looking forward to cleaning my floors!
(I do make a small percentage if you choose to shop through the links in this post.)

January 19, 2011Amazon is quickly becoming my first stop for all my shopping needs. Our vacuum died last week so we went on the hunt for a new one. We headed to sears to check out a Hoover. Hubs looked it up on Amazon and it was 140 bucks cheaper plus free shipping because I am in the Amazon Mom club!! We also get dog food delivered each month for cheaper than in the store and I no longer have to deal hunt for diapers because they are so much cheaper by just being in the Mom club. I could go on and on. I love me some Amazon!!
That is such a good idea to order your dog food from Amazon! I’m always almost running out (okay a few dinners have been milk bones). I’m going to set up my delivery now! Thanks.

January 19, 2011I second what Amy said. As soon as I joined Amazon Mom – Um, it’s free so I don’t know why I put it off – it quickly moved way up the list of places I shop.
