Tassimo T20 Home Brewing System Review & Giveaway

Coffee makes mornings a little more tolerable for us moms. Once the kids and I are downstairs, one of the first things I do is make coffee, sometimes a full pot and sometimes just a cup, depending on our schedule. After we’re home from a full day of classes, errands and the like, I usually have an afternoon cup of coffee as well. The Tassimo T20 by Bosch makes it easy for me to have my favorite cup of coffee or even cappuccino anytime and as often as I want.

About the Tassimo T20

The Tassimo T20 makes coffee, tea, cappuccino, latte, crema, espresso and hot cocoa in about 1 minute flat. It has a sleek, compact design, using less of your coveted countertop real estate. Available in black or white.

Our Experience

Before brewing your first beverage, fill the water tank located in the back of the machine and run the brewing cycle a few times to clean it. This takes about 5 minutes and is easy as pie.

To brew, simply insert a Tassimo T Disc, fill water tank, and press Start.

The height of the cup platform is adjustable, so no matter what sort of drink you are making, there won’t be splatters and spills. I often drink my coffee on the go, and love that I can brew right into my travel mug.

To Buy or Not to Buy

To Buy… The Tassimo T20 is sleek, compact, and produces yummy drinks with the push of a button. The T Discs are available in just about every brand of coffee  imaginable, in addition to oodles of teas and cappuccinos. The T-Discs are easy to find — I’ve done a little research and it seems Target sells them at the best price. If you are a single cup drinker or like to drink multiple cups of coffee/tea throughout the day, this machine is a dream.

Or Not to Buy… If you are replacing your daily Starbucks habit with the Tassimo T20 then you are sure to save money over time. Allthough this machine could not be anymore convenient or easy-to-use, the cost per cup compared to the cost of a home-brewed pot of coffee is definitely higher. That said, I’ll take easy clean-up and easy-to-use any day – this machine has a permanent spot on my kitchen counter.
