You may have noticed this beautiful little graphic (from Penny Lane Designs, of course) on the Britax B-READY review and giveaway post.
And perhaps you thought, “What the heck is that?” So, it’s probably time I let you in on the latest project that’s keeping us busy – the Baby Shopping Guide . The other shopping mamas and I are working hard to put together a comprehensive and thoughtful Baby Shopping Guide with our favorite baby gear, unique shower gifts and must have registry items. If you are pregnant, know anyone who is pregnant or know someone who may possibly once upon a time in the distant future get pregnant (so basically everyone in the world), you need to check out the Shopping Guide.
Want a sneak peek at some of the products to make the cut? Here you go…
Oh, and did I forget to mention we’ll be hosting giveaways for many of these products as well as a super duper Baby Shopping Guide prize package? Because we are!
Best Baby Gifts
During our discussions of products to include in the Shopping Guide, we realized there’s a bit of a divide between the baby gift you like the most and the baby gift you need the most. In a future post we’ll share the favorite gifts we received as well as the gifts that were total lifesavers. So, we’d like to know:
What is your favorite baby gift (to give or receive) and what new baby gift did you receive that repeatedly saved the day?

September 10, 2010I love to give Baby Legs and Gerber flat cloth diapers- not to be used as cloth diapers but they make the BEST burp cloths, bibs, face/nose wipes and even lovies!
A friend of mine – AMY, actually, told me about using flat diapers for burp clothes and such. They’re so absorbent that they’re very useful.

September 10, 2010Oh, I forgot to mention my Medela pump! TOTAL life saver and best investment! Still pumping at work!
Investing in a good breast pump (or better yet, getting one as a gift) is totally worth it if you plan to pump at all. Such a good investment.

September 10, 2010A quality breast pump or a nursing pillow such as Boppy. I used my Boppy everyday for a year! I think a quality baby carrier like the ERGObaby is a great gift also!
