Baby Eggi Fall Collection (with Giveaway)

Eggi means baby in Korean, but don’t let the name of clothing line Baby Eggi fool you. These clothes are not babyish and with a collection that spans sizes 3 months to 8, the duds are for babies and big kids alike. My affection for Baby Eggi began last fall when we reviewed pieces from last year’s collection and I have continued to admire the unique and very wearable clothing line. The Fall / Winter 2010 collection doesn’t disappoint.

About Baby Eggi

Baby Eggi is a hip and stylish children’s clothing company that is committed to creating a better world for children to live and thrive. Baby Eggi donates 20% of its net proceeds to partnering children’s charities.

Style, Color & Comfort

The new Baby Eggi collection can be summed up this way: on trend comfortable clothes for kids. From the use of rich, mature tones like purple, to the military flair, and frequent use of zippers, Baby Eggi clothes have the elements of trendy adult clothes. But, the clothes are made of kid-friendly, very soft cotton jersey material and are perfect for the classroom, playground and beyond.

We received several pieces from the new collection to check out. One of the first things I noticed is that every piece is extremely soft, leaving me wondering, “Why don’t my clothes feel like this?” It’s still too hot for the kids to wear these clothes out and about but they’ve had some fun wearing them for photo shoots dance parties and playing around the house.

My daughter is sporting the Bubble Tiered Tunic and Zipper Leggings in the Grey and Black color combo. The Tunic is great – with just the right amount of bubble so that it’s fun and not your average top, but not too much for every day. The colors are definitely on the mature side, but the playfulness of the bubble shape and stripes make it very age-appropriate. The Zipper Leggings are so great – the fit is perfect and the zipper detail is awesome. I would love these in a solid color, too.

For the boys, the graphic tees are, per typical Baby Eggi style modern and bold and lots of fun. The City Skyline Elbow Patch Tee is awesome. I absolutely love the graphic that wraps around the tee and the great patch detail on the elbows. The Striped V-Neck is so, so comfortable that it could just as easily be a pajama top as a fun striped shirt for school.

To Buy or Not to Buy

To Buy… Baby Eggi clothes are unique and mature so mama will love the style and comfortable so kids will be happy to wear them. I have highly recommended the clothes for the past year and will continue to do so. And you can feel good about purchases from Baby Eggi because 20% of net proceeds are donated to a charity partner. (When you check out you can pick where you’d like your money to go!)

Or Not to Buy… I have to admit I don’t love this collection quite as much as last fall’s. But I do think the photos don’t really do this year’s collection justice and they are much cuter on my little ones than on the hanger or online.

Shop! Baby Eggi clothes are reasonably priced – shirts start at $28 and dresses and you’ll pay closer to $50 for dresses and jackets. Get Free Shipping on orders over $50, and make sure you check out the Sale section – I’ve been coveting the Striped Empire Dress for months.

Win! Two Winners: Girls Sharkstooth Tiered Tunic in Sweet Berry and Boys Stripe V-Neck in Black/Grey or Red/Charcoal!
