I’m being generous when I say I could use some help in the organization and family management department. Staying on top of everything from when gymnastics ends to when swimming begins and when my husband is in and out of town and doctor’s appointments… there are a lot of dates and times and details. And, my mom brain just doesn’t keep track of it all. (And my kids aren’t even in real school yet!) OrganizHer products are designed specifically for multi-tasking moms like me. The affordable line of more than a dozen products is available at Target stores nationwide.

OrganizHer Review
I jumped at the chance to try out some products from the OrganizHer line and selected three products to tackle some of my specific challenges.
Shopping Companion
It’s as if this was created for me… I am “The Shopping Mama”, after all. The Shopping Companion is a small two ring soft-sided binder with “shopping lists”. But, each list is divided into four sections so you can organize your shopping tasks however you like. For the grocery store you can list by section (ie produce, meat), or you can organize by who you’re shopping for (perfect for back to school or holiday shopping), or you can organize by store you need to visit. Obviously, because it’s totally customizable, you can organize however works best for you. There are also tabbed pocket dividers and plastic pockets for loyalty cards and coupons. The thing I like best about the Shopping Companion is that the front and back cover are made of the soft-sided binder material to protect. It’s much better than an old pad of paper that gets destroyed in a hurry in my diaper bag.
Magnetic Calendar Center
This week by week calendar is mostly blank so you can fill in the dates and organize your days by family member. This is great for keeping track of lessons and appointments and to get an overview of the week ahead. I’m definitely not using it to its full potential because, well, my kids aren’t all that busy and don’t do anything without me. I think this is most useful if your kids are going multiple directions and you need to really organize who’s-getting-where-how. I do really like that at the bottom there’s a place for “chow” to help organize your meals. But, if you’re interested in tracking more than 3 additional family members, you’ll need that bottom row for a person and not meals.
Each week is a new piece of paper that you can rip off when no longer relevant, and there is also a small white board section at the bottom for notes. I do wish this had a place to store a pen in addition to storing a white board marker. Pens are a hot commodity around here, for some reason, so I’m always looking for one and it would be great if I could store one on the Calendar Center.
Write ‘n Wipe Meal Center
I was most excited about using this OrganizHer product. I often feel like I”m wandering through the grocery store making up my list as I go along because I haven’t thoroughly planned our meals for the week. My goal is to plan the entire week and shop accordingly and this makes that a lot easier. You can jot down your weekly meal plan (for lunches and dinners) on the white board. (As you can see from the picture below, I need to get better about planning lunches!)
There’s an attached Shopping List so as you plan your meals you can make your grocery shopping list. My main complaint about the product is that the list is not divided by section of the grocery store. I always try to organize my shopping lists by type of food so I’m not wondering around or criss-crossing back and forth through the store. And, I as with the Calendar Center, I wish this had a place to store a pen since the Shopping List is paper.
To Buy or Not to Buy
To Buy…. The OrganizHer products by Mead are very affordable for the quality. The line includes everything from the products featured here to an Address Book, Expandable Folder, Expense Tracker, Desk Calendar and more. I like the organization provided by the Shopping Companion and look forward to continuing to improve meal planning with the Meal Planner.
Or Not to Buy… I think the Meal Planner shopping list should include grocery store sections to help organize the grocery shopping list. I also with the products that include paper had a pen or pencil holder as well as a white board marker holder.
Shop! OrganizHer by Mead products are available exclusively at Target. The Shopping Companion is $7.99, the Magnetic Calendar Center is $15.99 and the Write ‘n Wipe Meal Center is only $7.99. The OrganizHer products are in the paper goods section of my local Target – near the greeting cards and craft supplies.
