Whether you already know how to sew or are interested in trying your hand at it, Little Fish Big Pond offers children’s dress kits which include everything you need to make a sweet dress for your little girl. Included in each kit: precut fabric pieces, ribbon (if needed), easy-to-follow instructions, and the satisfaction of knowing you made it. I must say that I have never sewn a thing in my life, but I have purchased a bunch of these kits over the last few months – shipped straight to my mom (aka my little girls’ seamstress), who adores the Little Fish Big Pond kits.

I have the remarkable good fortune to live high in the mountains of Northern California, in the small resort town of Bear Valley. With skiing, snowshoeing and snowmobiling the only forms of transportation for at least six months of the year, this lovely town is not for everyone (Think of a two year old child in a backpack and towing a sled full of groceries). I find it magical. My studio sits on the edge of a beautiful mountain meadow where finding inspiration to create is never a struggle.
