A Postmodern Twist on an Heirloom Classic: UB2 Bonnets

by Kate on May 11th, 2010 | 4 Comments » | In Shopping

As mothers we are constantly concerned with protecting our children from the sun, and the Urban Baby Bonnet provides protection in style!  Each one sports an adjustable chin strap with a snap closure, and they come in just about every color combination/print that you can imagine.

*UB2* bonnets feature an exclusively-designed seamed brim, which allows you to fold back as much or as little of the brim as you like. Pure genius! I selected a few of my fave print/color combinations to include in this article – you can also get these with fleece lining for winter.

Lastly, I wanted to mention that Collette, owner of UB2, has written a compelling artist’s statement in the profile section of her shop. Be sure to check it out when you stop by to browse her beautiful little bonnets!

Oh my, those are adorable. I love all the fabric combinations and there are so many to chose from. I’m pretty sure my daughter NEEDS one.

I KNOW! I already got a fleece-lined bonnet with little owls on it for my toddler for winter. It’s SO well made and completely adorable.
