kate quinn organics Kids Clothing Review + Giveaway

It wasn’t long ago that when I heard the words “organic kids clothes” I pictured a drab, plain off-white onesie. But, luckily, that simply isn’t the case any more and without a doubt one of the industry leaders in organic clothes for kids is the colorful kate quinn organics.

About kate quinn organics

Evolving from its beginnings as Earth Organic Baby Basics, Kate Quinn Organics was launched in July 2006. Featuring stylish apparel made from the finest 100% certified organic fabrics, Kate Quinn Organics strives to care for the earth and its community without sacrificing fun and style.

Fun Organic Kids Clothes

The very first thing I liked about kate quinn clothes when I first discovered them is the clean lines and classic style. Of course, it only helps that the clothes are 100% organic and fair trade certified. That means the clothes are made from 100% cotton “grown using sustainable farming practices that maintain and replenish soil fertility without the use of toxic and persistent pesticides and fertilizers.” But, kate quinn clothes don’t sacrifice style or quality in the name of the environment. Rather, the clothes are colorful and they are super soft to the touch. Check out the kate quinn color and print chart to see the options range from classic to vibrant and just plain fun.

Summer Staples

We received a great summer staple shirt for each child. Toddler Girl is featuring the delicately girly and everyday ready Cap Sleeve Pleated Tee in Peony. And Preschool Boy has the sporty Racerback Tank in Elephant. I absolutely love the pleated details on the Cap Sleeve Tee. It adds interest and fun to a traditional shaped shirt. It’s definitely true to size and has a bit of a babydoll dress fit to it so there’s plenty of room for my daughter’s big toddler belly.

I can’t tell you how freaking adorable my son looks in the Racerback Tank. The back isn’t a really strong “racerback” look and is a great basic tank to add to your child’s collection. It’s a great shirt for hot and active summer days and has been perfect for my son’s gymnastics classes. It fits a little more snug than many of his other 3T shirts so if you are between sizes, I would order up.

Baby Bedding & Bath

kate quinn organics offers more than baby and toddler clothes. They have a great line of baby bedding and bath products. I love the Hooded Towels and coordinating sets of Wash Cloths. And if the bedding feels anything like the clothing, a baby would be lucky to sleep on the fun baby bedding.

To Buy or Not to Buy

To Buy… If you’re concerned about the materials in the clothes for your wee ones (and who isn’t) but you don’t want to sacrifice style or quality, definitely check out kate quinn organics. The clothes are soft, high quality and the styles are classic without being boring. I’ll definitely make more purchases for my kids in the future.

Or Not to Buy… Some of the basic styles are more expensive their the non-organic counterparts from other companies. But, in this instance I think you get what you pay for and here you are paying for 100% organic materials.

Shop! The Cap Sleeve Pleated Tee is $26 and the Racerback Tank – available in solids and two toned piped shirts – is $18. In addition to baby and kids clothing and goods, kate quinn organics has a line of organic Women’s and Maternity clothes.
