When I heard the FantasyJewelryBox tag line, “Affordable Jewelry for Expensive Tastes” I thought perhaps it was written with me in mind. I love jewelry and simply don’t have the budget for my tastes. At the same time, I don’t want to spend money on jewelry that is cheap and looks tacky. FantasyJewelryBox.com has a ginormous selection of jewelry from classic .925 sterling silver earrings to bold beaded pieces to cubic zirconia jewelry.
When I was browsing the collection at FantasyJewelryBox I had a really hard time picking one piece for review. At first it was a struggle to find something that was my taste. I’ll be frank, I’m not a fan of cubic zirconia jewelry (yes, I said it), so I wasn’t interested in any of those pieces. (And, if you are FantasyJewelryBox is the right place because there is everything studs to elaborate bib necklaces.) Once I found the plain silver jewelry and the bohemian jewelry collections my problem turned to choosing just one favorite.
The sterling jewelry is very classic and some pieces will remind you of some sold at that very high end store with the pretty blue boxes.

The bohemian jewelry selection is full of fun, colorful jewelry that adds to any outfit. I just love the big gold leaf earrings (and they come in silver, too.)
Black Bead Necklace Set
After lots of internal debate I decided to review Margot’s Chunky Black Bead Necklace Set. It appealed to me because it’s bold and a bit of a statement piece without being too out there or “loud.” The set includes and 18 inch necklace and earrings made of 1 inch black oval lucite beads.
I was immediately impressed when the jewelry arrived – very quickly, I might add. The box was classy and definitely ready for gift giving. The pieces were wrapped carefully inside so they didn’t tangle. I am really pleased with my choice. I wore the necklace and earrings last night for a girl’s night out to dinner and got a couple compliments, which is always nice. I didn’t bother to tell them the whole set is only $33.95! I really wish I’d taken a picture so you could see it when I was all dolled up. (Because, I’m sorry, but the weather is horrendous today and my hair looks is all kind of frizzy and curly so I’m not putting you through seeing that.) Luckily, my son enjoys trying on my jewelry so he is your necklace model.
Speaking of kids, my kids tug and pull at my jewelry all the time – on accident, on purpose, you name it. It has to withstand that abuse. It’s a lot easier to be relaxed about fun, every day jewelry when you don’t spend a fortune on it. That’s why one reason I think FantasyJewelryBox is great for moms.
To Buy or Not to Buy
To Buy… The selection at FantasyJewelryBox is so amazing that it’s a little overwhelming – there is so much stuff! I’m very happy with my jewelry and experience. For me, I’ll return to look for bold statement pieces that I won’t wear often enough to make it worth spending tons of money or classic silver jewelry to wear every day.
Or Not to Buy… A lot of the jewelry really isn’t my style.
Shop! The Margot Chunky Beaded Necklace Set is $33.95, and my favorite silver hoop earrings are $48.95. You can browse jewelry at FantasyJewelryBox.com easily by price, color, collection or department.
