Over the weekend I took the kids to a local event called Cottages for Kids. It’s really a great charity event – architects and builders design and create one of a kind playhouses that are sold and auctioned off for a children’s charity. But, before they’re sold kids can play in all of them. The 6 playhouses were amazing! Too bad we don’t have 10 grand laying around to get one.
Maybe Gem of the Jungle is more your style?

And I bought a raffle ticket to win the prize playhouse, so obviously I’ll win and we’ll be adding Kidz Shak to our backyard.

May 26, 2010Good Luck in the raffle!! I like the Kidz shak too! No playhouses for us we have hornets that like to take over our living spaces

May 26, 2010Wow! Those are impressive. Though I have to say, with a cardboard box, you can always upgrade and renovate. I would be afraid to break one of those fabulous playhouses!

May 26, 2010Those are the houses that were donated to Kate & Jon plus 8 when it was still on the air
The Kidz Shak looks similar, but all of these houses were custom made by local architects and builders. The playhouses on Jon & Kate + 8 are called Kids Crooked House.
