My definition of mom style can be summed up in two words: quick and easy. Sounds so glamorous, right? But, seriously, when it comes to dressing day to day I need to keep it simple. Of course, that doesn’t mean I want to look boring and lack I lack style completely. Turns out, nothing can bring new life to an outfit like a cool scarf. Scarves for Spring

I tend to wear a lot of black and solid colors. My style is pretty safe, I admit. So when I had the opportunity to pick a scarf from Affordable Scarves, I wanted to pick a bright colorful scarf in a color that intimidates me in larger doses. I browsed the Spring Scarves and picked the Fuschia Pink Gwyneth Cotton Scarf. The scarf is made of 100% cotton and at 63 by 25 inches it’s a great size. There’s nothing worse than a scarf that’s too short to wrap around your neck or, on the other hand, so long that you trip over it. The Gwyneth is really the perfect size.

Now, don’t look at me, look at the scarf. But below are are two boring outfits I would and have totally worn plain. I’m sure I don’t have to tell you they look much better with the Gwyneth Scarf. There are great video tutorials and based on one, I tied the scarf in loose tie with the black shirt.
