Tutu Pour Mon Deux is not your average tutu company. For starters, the tutu tees are not your average tutu. Rather, they are adorable tees featuring clever graphic appliques with an attached tulle skirt tutu. What’s even more noteworthy is the way in which Tutu Pour Mon Deux came to be.
The Tutu Pour Mon Deux Story
Inspired by her two daughters Erika Deady-Wohlers created the company Tutu Pour Mon Deux, which means “tutu for my two” in French.
Erica says, “So how does a woman with degrees in fine arts and architecture wind up designing and selling children’s apparel? It all started with one daughter who is consumed with dress-up and dramatic play, and her sister who was born with a congenital heart defect which required corrective surgery four days after she was born.”
Erika wanted to give back to the tremendous hospital and doctors who cared for her daughter so she decided to start a tutu business to honor her both her daughters’ girly love of dress up and to raise money for Children’s Hospital of Boston. An amazing $10 per tutu sold is donated to the Children’s Hospital of Boston!
About the Tutus
Every young girl has an inner ballerina that wants to perform – usually anywhere, anytime! A band of tulle and colorful ribbon is attached to the bottom of either a sleeveless or long sleeved shirt with a unique image ironed onto the bodice creating a one of a kind, little girl’s tutu shirt.

Tutu Tee Shirts
I was lucky, lucky to win a Tutu Pour Mon Deux tutu when I became a fan on Facebook. I immediately popped over to the website to Design A Custom Tutu. You literally get to design your tee from top to bottom, but it’s very easy. First, you pick tee (long sleeve or tank top), color (six choices), and size (from 12-18 months to 6T). Next, select an applique patch – the choices range from a sweet cupcake to an edgy skull to a goofy cyclops. The next step is to pick your tutu color from the eight colors.
The final step is to select a accent ribbon. I picked a black tank top tee in size 2T with a pink skull patch, pink tutu and pink ribbon with black polka dots. Toddler Girl’s tutu shirt arrived very quickly and was just as I designed. And very, very cute!
The tutu shirt is really adorable and very well made. The size 2T is a good size for her even though she normally wears a 12 – 18 months shirt. She can currently wear it with something underneath while its cooler and it should fit perfectly in the summer. The finishing is really lovely great and it seriously is cuter on her than I could possibly describe. We received countless compliments and inquiries when she wore it out and about. Now, you know my daughter wears some cute clothes, but I can’t think of any other single piece of clothing to ever get such a great reaction.

To Buy or Not to Buy
To Buy… These are truly one of a kind designs – not only because you design from top to bottom – but because they’re unique. And, think of it this way: when you purchase a tutu, not only do you get an adorable Tutu Pour Mon Deux tutu tee, you also make possible a $10 donation to a very worthy cause.
Or Not to Buy… Tutu Pour Mon Deux tutus are not the typical frilly fluff of tulle tutu so if that’s what you’re looking for this isn’t for you.
Shop! Hop on over to Tutu Pour Mon Deux and design your own tutu shirt! Tank tutus are $34 and long sleeve tees are $38. And, remember, $10 goes to charity!
