punkaboo logoTired of sticky tape, faded marker and sticky residue after labeling her children’s stuff the old fashioned way, Jennifer (a mom of 3) started making her own labels and Punkaboo was born. In addition to Waterproof Labels ideal for identifying everything for school, Punkaboo also offers All-Purpose Labels, Bag Tags, and Note Cards.

About Punkaboo Labels

  • Waterproof labels are dishwasher, microwave and pool safe
  • Every Punkaboo design – over 200 to chose from! – can be used on any item
  • Each design can be customized to be just how you want
  • You can request a proof to make sure it looks perfect before ordering

Our Experience

We received a set of small waterproof labels and a bag tag in the Pastel Dots with Brown pattern. A single sheet of the small waterproof labels has 50 labels, but they aren’t teeny tiny. As you can see from the photos, the small label is perfect for marking cups and bottles, and with 50 on a sheet I know they’ll last us a long time. We’ve washed the cup by hand who knows how many times and in the dishwasher at least 3 times since applying the label and, as youcan see, it’s still stuck in place on the cup and it looks just as good as it did the first day. Punkaboo labels should last between 50 and 60 times through a dishwasher.

Made in the same cute pattern as our labels, my daughter’s bag tag is perfect for staking her claim on her stuff at school, travel and on the town. At 2.5 by 4 inches, it’s not too big to overwhelm a diaper bag or back pack, but it’s big enough to get noticed.

Design Variety

Given that you have to label just about everything for kids in school and day care, labels are a must. They might as well be cute or reflect your kid’s personality and that’s where Punkaboo is top-notch. With over 200 designs – each fully customizable – you can easily find something to suit your needs. Punkaboo provides wording suggestions and you can select your font to make sure your label has all the information you want. For children with allergies, the Allergy Labels are a must to remind teachers and other students of particular risk.

To Buy or Not to Buy

To Buy… Punkaboo labels are great and the waterproof labels are truly waterproof and are a must for children in day care or attending school. I love the huge variety of designs and that you can customize them to look and say just what you want. Both our Punkaboo products arrived in in great packaging, including a bow, making them great for gift giving, too.

Or Not to Buy… I’m very satisfied with the product and can’t think of an improvement, to be honest. I would love to see Punkaboo add some clothing labels to the collection.
