NoodleHead_LogoNext Tuesday we’re hitting the road to drive to Orlando for the Disney Social Media Moms Celebration. Not surprisingly, I am about as not excited about the drive as I am excited for the actual event. A day in the car + a 3 year old + a 1 year old = not my idea of a good time. But, we’ll be traveling prepared with everything I can think up to make the trip more pleasant. The newest weapon in our travel arsenal is the adorable Travel Buddies Travel Pillow from Noodle Head.

What is Travel Buddies?

Travel Buddies children’s neck pillows comfortably support sleepy heads on planes, trains and automobiles and are perfect for naptime on the go!   Travel time is a lot more enjoyable for little ones with these irresistibly soft and cuddly travel companions.  They are adorable, fun and practical and are a great way to stimulate tactile learning…kids will take them everywhere and won’t leave them behind!

The Travel Buddies pillow is the ultimate kid-friendly answer to adult travel pillows. Travel Buddies are super soft pillow-shaped pillows that are available in almost 20 different cute animals. They are seriously beyond soft and feel like a chamois baby blanket. Noodle Head Toys generously sent us the the Giraffe for Preschool Boy and the pink Pig for Toddler Girl.

Our Experience

travel buddies reviewRecommended for use by kids over 18 months, Toddler Girl isn’t quite old enough to use her Travel Buddies. But don’t tell her that. She cuddles with it like it’s her trusty old stuffed animal when she sees Preschool Boy with his. And, Preschool Boy has already used his Giraffe Pillow on shorter drives around town. As you can see, he’s even used it in the house, too! Frankly, I don’t blame him. It’s so stinking comfortable and I think his using it around the house will make an easy transition for him to use it in the car. I hope it will get him so cozy he’ll fall asleep happy and avoid some of that uncomfortable head-flopped forward position kids have in the car.

The best part for us mamas? Travel Buddies pillow machine washable! (Which will come in handy if your child barfs all over the car like Preschool Boy did on our last car trip!)

To Buy or Not to Buy

To Buy… If you’re planning any travel with kids, Travel Buddies is an affordable way to make your little one more comfortable. And, really, when you’re traveling with kids every little bit helps, right? I think Preschool Boy is on the young side for using it and both kids will be able to cuddle with it for years.

Or Not to Buy… Honestly, it’s hard to think of a reason not to buy one if you’re hitting the road (or air or rails) with a kid.
