Let’s face it, the washing machine and / or dryer eats socks. (I know this phenomenon is not limited to my house!) Another troublesome issue with socks is that babies have the uncanny ability to remove them in all circumstances. Stay With Me Socks venture to solve both these issues with a unique and clever design.
About Stay With Me Socks
As a mother of three teenagers, Cheryl DelMastro was tired of being asked “Mom do you know where my other sock is?” She thought of how many years she heard the same question asked over and over again. After discussing it with some friends of infants that complained their babies pull off their socks, she decided to solve the “sock problem” once and for all. After endless meetings with mom focus groups, researching and developing the best design, she launched Stay With Me adjustable baby socks. Cheryl chose to introduce an infant sock since that is where it all began.
How Do They Work?
Stay With Me Socks have an adjustable velcro strap around the sock. The velcro strap tightens the sock above baby’s ankle so it cannot be pulled off. It’s really quite clever and works like a charm! The velcro is solid and strong enough to stay put but it’s not tough or tight around baby’s ankle like elastic would be.
So, the other awesome feature of the velcro is that you can use it to fasten the socks together so you never lose a sock in the washing machine. Very cool. The velcro used on these socks is pretty cool because it actually works and keeps socks fitted when worn or looped when washed but it doesn’t snag the socks.

Baby Girl has been sporting the Pink Stripe socks in size 3 – 14 months. (They are also available in size 0 – 3 months and a variety of colors.) The material of the sock is surprisingly soft and is made of a combination of cotton, nylon and spandex. The socks also have the necessary non-skid bottom so even my little walker (!) can toddle around without slipping.
To Buy… Stay With Me Socks are just plain smart and recently received an iParenting Media Award for great design and high quality. The velcro strap solves two common problems specific to tiny baby socks. Buy these for a new mama and she’ll think you’re full of unique knowledge and she will thank you forever.
Or Not to Buy… At $6 a pair, these socks are more expensive than many baby socks.
