About Jessie
An avid photographer, she started putting her love of fabrics to use by making camera strap covers. On her blog, Jessie explains how her love of fabric and evolved into her shop.
“You may ask what fabric has to do with camera strap covers. Well, they allow me to play with lots of different fabrics, and also dress up my camera. I get to play with texture and color, my computer and photos. But as my husband is so keen on saying, ‘How many do you really need?’ That’s where my shop comes in. All of my items are an appreciation for the unique object, for my individual creativity, and for the process of creating. This is why you will always see new things in my store.“
Designs by Jessie Slip Covers are designed to fit on SLR and DSLR cameras. They are 21 inches long and at 2 3/4 inches wide they are easy to get on your strap. To add some extra padding and durability, all slip covers are lined with fleece interfacing. I just LOVE the fabrics Jessie uses on her slip covers and there’s such a huge selection you can easily find something for everyone.
I also really like that Designs by Jessie offers lots of add-ons to customize your slip cover. You an add a lens cap holder (I’m always afraid of losing mine), extra length and even minky fabric for an extra soft material against your neck.
