In my quest to turn a new leaf and get organized, I found the BusyBodyBook. With the unique grid format, BusyBodyBook products are designed for busy mamas and are perfect for back to school organizing.BusyBodyBook’s Weekly GRID format is the most efficient solution to every Mom’s scheduling chaos! Each family member, with their own personal column, can plan and track their activities while they organize and coordinate with one another “side by side.”
I received the BBB Personal and Family Organizer and the BBB Wall Calendar and have been using both to keep track of our little family. The BBB Personal and Family Organizer is super cool. Organized by week, when you open the page, there’s a blank “To Doodles” page on the left and a grid one-week calendar on the right. The calendar lists the dates along the far left column and then five blank columns for you to label with names, times or projects. The side by side columns help you plan and coordinate family member’s schedules (if you label with their names) or you can label the columns to track school subjects, work projects or around the house tasks.
My kids are rather young so thankfully they don’t have much on their schedules yet (although, my son has more of a social life than I do), so I use my columns to track my schedule, my husband’s, my kids combined into one, The Shopping Mama projects and general errands for each day. I love being able to see everything side by side. It’s really easy to see when Toddler Boy has a swimming lesson so I don’t schedule a conflicting appointment. It’s easy to note when my husband will be out of town so I can find extra things to keep us busy. As my children get older and have more and more activities, lessons and playdates I can see the grid format being invaluable.
The Wall Calendar also uses the grid format and has 7 blank columns to-be labeled. It also uses a week-per-page view and you can hang it so you can see one or two weeks at a time. The current calendar runs from August 2009 through December 2010 – just in time for back to school organizing.
And, of course, you have to love the cute, colorful and funky BusyBodyBook cover patterns. They’re all really fun!
To Buy… BusyBodyBook products are helpful for me with my young kids and I can see its value growing as my kids do. BusyBodyBook products are really innovative and ideal for busy families – or busy students.
Or Not to Buy… If you’re child-free and not in school, the column grid format may be unnecessary for your organization needs.
