Kids Eat Well with Plum Organics

I initially found Plum Organics when searching for healthy, organic alternatives to home made baby food. I was happy to discover that in addition to food for Baby, Plum Organics offers super cool USDA-certified organic food for Tots and Kids.

Similar to the portable pouches for baby, Plum offers a fruit puree snack geared toward toddlers called Mish Mash. We packed the Peach Mish Mash when we flew to California a couple weeks ago. It was, not surprisingly, perfect for travel. (Although, we did get a funny look from the TSA agent!) This fruit snack is nutritious, self-contained and fun for little hands. Toddler Boy isn’t so adventurous and really wasn’t sure about the Mish Mash at first, which I think was due to the texture, but he got over it when he realized he could squeeze the pouch himself and that he actually liked the familiar taste. I think the Mish Mash is perfect for a day at the beach, or the park or anywhere you want to have an honestly nutricious snack without worrying about bruising fragile fruit or losing it to the sand and dirt.

The Plum for Tots line also includes Fruity Fingerfuls – an organic, toddler version of trail mix with dried fruit and grains – and Fiddlesticks – gluten free fruit and grain snack sticks.
