Bebe au Lait Review + It’s in the Bag Giveaway

I bought my first Bébé au Lait product when I was pregnant with my son. I planned on nursing him and couldn’t pass up their nursing cover called a “Hooter Hider.” Practical, stylish and a sense of humor? Awesome. After using and loving my Hooter Hider, I’ve given several as gifts to friends. And, oh, that one I bought myself 2.5 years ago? I still use it almost daily. Why am I telling you all this? So you understand how excited I am that Bébé au Lait has expanded its product line beyond nursing covers to include bibs, burp cloths and hooded towels. We were recently given the Reversible Double Bib and I am now officially hooked on TWO Bébé au Lait products!

The Reversible Double Bib is straight up cool. It has two sides – one in super cute fabric and the other is terry cloth. But, it doesn’t stop there. There are two surfaces of each fabric so you actually have four surfaces to pick from. This is, far and away, my favorite aspect of the Bib. I am not ashamed to admit that I’m lazy when it comes to doing the laundry. With this Bib you can throw it in your diaper bag and use it for several meals – scratch that, you can use it with a clean surface for at least four meals. Yes! For me, that means I can avoid embarassment when I realize I forgot to take the dirty Bib out of my diaper bag and do the laundry. Again. The Bib attaches using reversible magnets so you don’t have to worry about clasps, ties or snaps catching on clothes. The magnets connect in the front – on the chest of the kiddo – which means no struggling to get it on. I found the Bib very easy to put on and take off of both Toddler Boy and Baby Girl.

The size of the Bib is generous and is totally functional on both Toddler Boy and Baby Girl. I like that it’s not a “baby” sized bib but the baby can wear it and that it provides good coverage for an older kiddo.

Like all Bébé au Lait products, the Double Reversible Bib comes in funky, vibrant and totally cute fabrics. We have the Valencia pattern with pink, orange and cream swirls. I am also crazy for the Soft Spot pattern.

To Buy… The Reversible Double Bib is an original. It’s super functional, looks great and is 100% practical. I really love it and know it’s going to be a lifesaver when we start feeding Baby Girl solids in a few weeks.

Or Not to Buy… The magnet closure is super convenient and easy to use, but, for safety reasons I’m sure, isn’t super strong. It has stayed put when we used it, but I can envision an angry tot perhaps being able to unattach it.
