More Goodies to Stuff the Basket

If it were up to him, Toddler Boy would receive an Easter basket full of nothing but “cooktees,” “chocit” and “yodruit” (aka cookies, chocolate and yogurt) in his Easter basket. (I know what you’re thinking. And, yes, I am a total sucker and give him sweets. You try to resist his sweet face when he says “pease, mama.”) So I’ve been on the hunt for some non-chocolate goodies to put in a toddler or young one’s basket and here are some of my favorites.

These fun crayon eggs from Goose Hill Designs are great. They are obviously festive, super cute and easy for young hands to grasp. The super-sized eggs are created from three to five crayons for a marbled look and are sold in packs of 3 for only $5. I also love the set of letter crayons – what a fun way to help Toddler Boy learn his letters.

The Hookery has a set of four crocheted finger puppets that are perfect for imaginative play and fun on Easter morning (and beyond). The set includes two bunnies and two chicks for $10. And, if you give into the sweet tooth temptation, these puppets are a cute way to cover some chocolate eggs.

Although this isn’t great for Toddler Boy (I don’t trust him with sharp objects), the Stephen Joseph Lollipop Pad is just too cute to resist. The pad is 50 sheets of sweet paper with a matching pen. My favorites are the butterfly Lollipop Pad and the Dino Pad for a boy. This would also be a great go-to distraction to keep in your diaper bag for those moments when you need a little help. Don’t forget, if you buy your Stephen Joseph from The Crazy Dazy, use the code SHOPPINGMAMA for ten percent off your entire purchase.
Hope you enjoyed All About Easter week at The Shopping Mama. What was your favorite Easter pick?
