The talented mom behind Dfmi Designs, Erin, creates beautiful paper goods by hand in her home studio. (I consider myself lucky because I have seen the studio where the magic happens. It’s a paper lover’s dream with stacks and stacks of beautiful colored paper and envelopes.) Because each invitation, announcement or piece of stationary is made by hand, you can literally a little bit of Erin goes into everything she does.
My first experience with Erin was in 2005 when she designed and made all of the paper goods for my wedding: invitations, programs, table cards, menus and thank you notes. Whew! Everything was gorgeous and we got countless compliments on our paper goods.
When it came time to think about birth announcements for Toddler Boy I went back to Erin. I emailed her a very expensive announcement I fell in love with. She recreated it with her own personal touch for a much more affordable price. Last fall Erin designed Baby Girl’s birth announcement based on my description of her nursery. Aren’t they beautiful?
